ARK-Film-LAB Napoli organizes ANALOGICA film-screening on 5-6/03/2015

ANALOGICA è un festival annuale e una piattaforma internazionale per sostenere, conoscere e diffondere la tecnologia analogica. Organizzato da Resistenza Analogica, si svolge all’inizio di ottobre in Alto Adige, in una stazione ferroviaria in disuso di inizio ‘900 nella periferia di Ora, in provincia di Bolzano.
Il festival è una opportunità per entrare in contatto con le tecnologie analogiche per la produzione di musica, film e fotografia. Obbiettivo di ANALOGICA è sostenere e promuovere gli artisti e i filmmakers che lavorano con queste tecniche. Il festival dura tre giorni ed è costituito da mostre fotografiche, proiezioni, concerti, workshops.
Ogni anno ANALOGICA, attraverso una open call internazionale, propone ANALOGICA SELECTION, una raccolta di cortometraggi provenienti da tutto il mondo e selezionati per il festival. Non esiste limite di genere o stile, ma i film devono essere stati prodotti in pellicola, preferibilmente nei formati minori del super8 o 16mm, ed è molto apprezzata la sperimentazione.
Ogni anno alla selezione partecipano oltre 200 lavori provenienti da tutto il mondo.
ANALOGICA FILM SELECTION 2014 è la selezione presentata all’ultima edizione del festival, e che fino alla prossima edizione (ottobre 2015) viaggia in un tour internazionale, che unisce Timisoara in Romania a New York passando per Roma, Napoli e Milano.
ANALOGICA, the festival for analog technology, is conceived and organized by Resistenza Analogica as a natural follow-up and evolution of the many screenings made during the past years.
The festival usually takes place during a weekend in September and showcases a selection of:
cinema: super8 and 16mm films
photography: analog shots and camera obscura works
music: vinyl and magnetic tape DJs, live music using analog electronic instruments
ANALOGICA is an opportunity to learn about analog technologies of all kinds: film, photography or sound. Discover new (and old) ways to reuse and experiment with these uncontrollable materials that resist the standardized digital world.
ANALOGICA also aims at being a point of reference and meeting place for the world of creative analog technology.
The festival is a meeting point for enthusiasts, experimenters and researchers dealing with slow and low-fi technologies.
ANALOGICA‘s first editions have been run in the city of Rome in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 the festival moved to the South Tyrolean mountains.
