Questo trio è l’incontro del duo di improvvisazione elettroacustica Aspec(t) e del live cinema di
70FPS. Il loro spettacolo dal vivo si basa su un dispositivo di interazione tra suono e luce che ingloba gli
strumenti e le persone che li manipolano. Cancellando i confini tra immagine e “colonna sonora”, e
confondendo quelli tra proiezione e corpo in scena, la performance del trio è una vera e propria “produzione”
di cinema dal vivo, nel senso che a diventare cinema è proprio la generazione di immagini e suoni in tempo
reale, la loro interazione e la loro modificazione, nonché gli strumenti utilizzati. Il suono e la luce non sono
intesi come elementi narrativi che si affiancano, ma come materia da manipolare e formare continuamente,
nella perenne modificazione reciproca: essi si influenzano reciprocamente e ogni intervento su uno strumento
produce una modificazione sugli altri.
This trio is the meeting between the electroacoustic improvisation duo Aspec(t) and the live cinema of 70fps. Their live show is based on an interaction system between sound and light that involves both the instruments and the players. Deleting the borders of image and “soundtrack”, muddling the ones between projection and body on stage, the performance of the trio is a real “production” of cinema in real time, because it’s the generation of images and sounds itself, their live interaction, the instruments used, to become cinema. Sound and light are not meant as juxtapposed narrative elements, but as a matter to shape and manipolate continously, in a perpetual and mutual modification: any action on a device produces a modification on the others.
